Applications of the Stainless Steel Pressure Reducing Valve
Plumbing, heating, water networks and non-corrosive fluids in general. All fluids must be free of limescale and solid particles. This pressure regulating valve is a device specifically designed to set the desired outlet pressure.
Operating conditions
Temperature range: 0 °C to 80 °C. An operating temperature no higher than 50 °C is recommended.
Maximum inlet pressure: 16 bar.
Outlet pressure adjustment range: 2 to 8 bar. The valve is supplied with a preset pressure of 3 bar.
Before installation, read the product technical data sheet carefully.
Special feature
When there is no consumption, this valve maintains the outlet pressure at the set value.
It also has an M14 × 1.5 or 1/4″ threaded port for connecting an optional pressure gauge (not included).

Stainless steel pressure reducing valve for plumbing and heating
The AISI 304 stainless steel pressure reducing valve has female-to-female (F-F) connections. It allows the outlet pressure to be adjusted for the applications listed, within the specified operating conditions.
Its factory setting of 3 bar can be changed if the installation requires a different value. The adjustment range extends from 2 to 8 bar.
It also maintains the set pressure when there is no consumption. This feature is relevant in installations where water demand varies throughout the day.
Reading the pressure with a pressure gauge
The pressure gauge port allows a gauge to be fitted to read the pressure. This lets you check the value rather than relying solely on the adjustment made.
The pressure gauge is sold separately. Before selecting one, check the connection thread for the relevant product reference.
What to check before installation
Before installing this stainless steel pressure reducing valve, check the inlet pressure, temperature and fluid characteristics. These parameters must comply with the product’s operating conditions.
Although the temperature range extends to 80 °C, the manufacturer recommends keeping the operating temperature at or below 50 °C. The fluid must also be free of limescale and solid particles.
Consult the technical data sheet for installation and adjustment instructions before starting installation.
